Hon. Kofi Bentil NDC pc for Mpohor promises to pay for the result checker vouchers, and also to give the best performers in all the 37 schools in the district mattress and trunk

Hon Henry Godfred Kofi Bentil NDC’S 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for the Mpohor Constituency has visited the B.E.C.E. Candidates in the four (4) Examination Centers in the Mpohor District.  He extended a message of goodwill, encouragement and assurance to the candidates who are undertaking the final Examination.

 

In a statement signed by the NDC’S Mpohor Constituency Communication Officer, Hon Kofi Bentil in addressing the Candidates assured them of paying for the B.E.C.E. results checker voucher for each of the 1,336 students who are writing the Examination and also to give a student mattress and a trunk to the best performer in each of the 37 Schools in the Mpohor District. When DFS Live News Western Regional Correspondent enquired from the Hon Parliamentary Candidate, Kofi Bentil how he would be able to undertake this exercise of paying for the result checker voucher for all the students writing the Exams, he got this to say; “I will establish result checking centers at various zones within the district to assist the students to check and print out their result slips for them at free of charge”.

 

This kind gesture of Hon Kofi Bentil or benevolence is not the first of its kind and neither will it be the last. As a brilliant but needy student he was, he couldn’t further his education after the Secondary School but today just by the grace of God he’s pursuing his Tertiary Education after so many years, he has taken it upon himself to contribute his quota and his quest to improving Education standard in the Mpohor District, he has been donating mathematical sets, exercise books, pens, pencils and other teaching/learning materials to the Basic Schools in the District every year for the past four (4) years. Recently, he donated bags of cement for the renovation of the DC Primary School, Mampong and also constructing classroom blocks to support community School in Papa Amuzukrom. He also distributed sets of jerseys and footballs to the Basic Schools in the District during their sporting festivities.

 

Hon Kofi Bentil always has Education at heart for he sees Education is the only way we can alleviate poverty in our society and improve our living standards in the district and the country at large.
