Hon. Emelia Arthur, the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Shama Constituency and the Former Western Regional Deputy Minister has donated snack and other edible items to the 2023 BECE candidates and their supervisors in the Shama District Examination centers.
During her visits she admonished the candidates to put in their maximum efforts to come out with flying colours. Hon Emelia Arthur who is on the bid to contest for the Parliamentary position in the upcoming 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in the Shama Constituency on the ticket of the NDC has promised in her speech to give a lifetime scholarship to four (4) best performing candidates (two males and two females) in the ongoing 2023 BECE Examination. Thus, from SHS to the tertiary level. And has also committed to improving Education in the District especially Girl Child Education.
She reiterated that this gesture is just the beginning of the better things she has for the good people of Shama District/constituency.
