The member of Parliament for the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira constituency in the Western region, Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe has completed and commissioned an almost a decade abandoned health facility for the people of Akango and Duale, a twin community in his constituency.
The project which was started in 2015 but left to the mercy of the weather after the NDC left power in 2016, has been completed following a pledged made by the MP to the people of Akango, Duale and the surrounding communities who travel for several kilometers to access health care.
On commissioning the project, Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe entreated the constituents to make good use of the facility and also support the NDC and JM with the maximum support in 2024 so that much would be done to reduce the infrastructure deficit in their various communities.
In addition to this, the Member of Parliament also donated 2,055 bags of cement to about 45 communities in the Constituency. Speaking to DFS Live News, Mr. Ras Essandoh a member the MP’s communication team said the bags of cement and other building materials were donated to those communities in support of some Community Initiated Projects across the Evalue Adjomoro Gwira Constituency.
He added that, the Chiefs of Akango and Duale with smiling faces and gratitude, thanked the MP and urged him to do more so that the people would feel the impact of their votes.
