Edem Agbana embarks on a “Special Thank You Tour” in Ketu North

Former National Deputy Youth organizer and the parliamentary candidate aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Ketu North Constituency, Mr. Eric Edem Agbana, has commenced his “Special thank you” and familiarization tour across the Ketu North constituency beginning July 3rd, 2023, ahead of the presidential and Parliamentary elections.

 

The National Democratic Congress in the Ketu North constituency, led by their parliamentary candidate aspirant, began with a scheduled visit to Akpatoeme, Zukpe, and Penyi Newtownship branches in the Ketu North Constituency on Monday and was given a rousing welcome by the stakeholders of the party at the branch level.

 

 

“John Dramani Mahama is coming, and we need a young, hardworking man as our Member of Parliament to work with him in government for the progress of our constituency.”

 

This is the message that the Ketu North National Democratic Congress (NDC) is selling to the party’s delegates that gather to hear them out. They frame it as a message of hope to the delegates, whom they think have been pauperized and damaged by harsh times under the nearly eight years of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government of Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia.

 

The party delegates reiterated their unflinching support for his administration to deliver on his promises if given the nod in 2024.

Speaking to Mr. Japhet Festus Gbede, DFS Live News Volta correspondent, Mr. Agbana explained that his tour was to show appreciation to the people for voting him and for their support so far.

 

“It is also to interact with the people on what they desire from me so as to meet up with their aspirations,” he added.

 

He said his administration if given the opportunity would remain resolute to ensure inclusive and participatory leadership to give every member of the party and of the constituency the opportunity to have a say in the development of Ketu North.

“The purpose of this visit is to say a big ‘thank you’ to all. You have been showing unprecedented and unquantifiable love and passion to our party since day one that my predecessor took over the mantle of leadership.

“We conceptualized this visit in fulfillment of my electoral victory and promises to run all-inclusive and participatory leadership where every citizen will be carried along in a bid to advance our Ketu North, he added.
