Over the years, the NDC had been spending much on campaigns. We concentrate much on campaigns and on election days but pay less attention to registration exercises and collation of results. Yes, it’s good we invest in campaigns and on election days but this time round I advise we concentrate much on voter registration exercise and collation of results.
This has become prudent, and I believe majority will agree with me on this. In 2016, after our hardworking in campaigns and on election day, our system for collation of results failed us. At a point we were relying on the EC and some point on our opponents for results and this is what let us down in 2016. Same thing happened in 2020 and as a result here we are today. Going into election 2024 which it’s obvious the failure of this deceptive, incompetent, substandard, unproductive NPP Government has done almost 60% of the job for us.
Now it’s left with us as a party to do our part to ensuring the victory we are yelling for come 2024.
I urge and I repeat, my humble plea to our leaders; much attention and investment should be channeled into the voter registration exercise, selection of polling agents and systems (physical and online) for collation of our results. If we take these much serious and work acediously towards them, I can assure you, by the time the “Devil” incarnate Jean decides to rig the elections, the NDC would have come out with the accurate and authentic results.
This is my humble plea and I believe when implemented, victory is assured.
