At a briefly held ceremony on July 2, 2023, the Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku Constituency, Hon Benjamin Narteh Ayiku commissioned the Ada Junction and Sammy Adjei Park Concrete slabs bridges which were constructed using his personal funds.
This was done upon the distress call made by the residents of Abolebu Electoral Area, Drivers’ Union, Motorists and other road users to the MP of about the unattended deplorable culvert and unmotorable roads at Sammy Adjei Park and Ada Junction respectively.
Hon. Benjamin Ayiku, referred to by his constituents as “the Development Master” quickly responded with the construction of Concrete slabs bridges to address the issues which would solve the problem of road accidents, damage of cars and above all to make the roads motorable.
It was a welcome prompt intervention as residents and all road users were extremely enthused.
Hon. Ben Ayiku Narteh, in his speech assured his constituents that, he will continue to deliver his mandate as a Legislator. He said, he is always excited when he does things for his constituents.
Teshie Drivers Union, Residents Association leaders and all other users expressed their profound gratitude to the MP for his swift response to their call.
They pledged their continued support and prayer for him to do more for his constituents.
In attendance were the leadership of NDC Ledzokuku led by Chairman Seth Attoh-Sowah, Hon. Assembly Members, Emmanuel Okai, Assembly Aspirants for Abolebu Electoral Area, Teshie Drivers Union and residents of Abolebu Electoral Area.
