Our attention has been drawn to a publication made on wontumionline.com at 4:05 pm on January 19, 2023. It is very sickening that a whole Regional Chairman of a party in government which is the NPP will engage in this reckless, irrational, and utterly delusional commentary all in the name of politics.
As a Regional Chairman, it’s expected that he lives an exemplary life so that it trickles down to the base but it appears his interest is rather to engage in petty pedestrian talk.
According to the publication, Wontumi claims H.E. Mahama had met the NDC Chairmen in secret and planned with them to come out and “lie” to their party that they were going to pay for his filing fee. We find this utterly preposterous because even though H.E. Mahama can afford his filing fees, we as a caucus in the region in principle with the ideology of a social democratic party, decided to support him in that regard. We await his evidence to prove his delusion that Mahama planned that optics with the Greater Accra Chairmen caucus.
It’s surprising how wontumi will want to robe in Mr. Duffour in his comical antics. It speaks volumes about his failure to appreciate the reality on the ground. We will want to reiterate that, even though we welcome any contest for the presidential candidate, H.E. John Dramani Mahama remains the best candidate for the NDC and to whom we have given our support.
Wontumi can live in his deranged world but should not try to rob in the respected Chairmen of the Greater Accra into his delusion.
We entreat everyone to disregard the gibberish being churned out by Wontumi and to state further that, we know how much of a loose talker wontumi is but we will employ him to at least behave as a human and act accordingly and not like the elephant in his party emblem. Thank you
