The Greater Accra Regional Executives of the NDC have received the news of the demise of Mr. Willinda Wradi Bortey, the Krowor Constituency Chairman of the party with utter shock.
Mr. Bortey, who was on admission at the Lister Hospital passed-on today, the 3rd of August, 2022. He was 58.
The Secretariat therefore wishes, on behalf of the party in the region to extend its condolences to the bereaved family and pray for God’s intervention in this trying times.
Mr. Bortey, a stalwart and a dedicated member of the party has led the party in his capacity as the Constituency Chairman with utmost diligence to the admiration of all the party members in the region, and the Nation as a whole.
We in the NDC have been pained by the loss. Ghana has lost a priceless citizen and the family has lost an irreplaceable member.
By this statement, the Regional Secretariat wishes to inform the general public that it has suspended all political activities in the Krowor Constituency for a period of one week, effective today, the 3rd of August, 2022 in Honour of the late Chairman.
May the good Lord bless his soul and provide the family the fortitude to withstand this great loss.
You will certainly be missed! Rest in Peace!!
