Ten-man league leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko defeated Tarkwa based Medeama 2-0 on match day 31 at the T&A park in Tarkwa. Kotoko broke the deadlock through defender Andrews Appau who headed in a Imoro Ibrahim corner kick. Etouga doubled Kotoko’s lead on the 45th minute after being set up by Samuel Boateng.
At the El wak stadium, Legon cities shared the points with Bibiani Goldstars. Legon cities took the lead through Augustine Dosu on the 86th minute. Michael Enu however striked in the dying embers of the game to level the scores.
Berekum Chelsea beat Elmina sharks 3-0 in Berekum. Emmanuel Sarpong found the back of the net with a fantastic strike to give the Berekum lads the lead. Hanry Ainsu scored just before the break to double Berekum Chelsea’s lead. Collins Ameyaw added a 3rd on the 71st minute to give them a 3-0 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
